Static IP regions in India, Asia, Europe, and the US

Planned launch regions are Mumbai, Chennai, Bangalore, Singapore, Jakarta, Tokyo, Sydney, Frankfurt, New York, and Virginia. Your IP pair lives in the region you choose.

Fixedmark is in early access. Regions marked Available at launch are planned for the first public version.

IPs are per region

Each region runs a pair of health-checked nodes. Your two static IPs belong to that region. If one node fails, its IP moves to the other node in the same region.

An IP cannot move from one region to another. If you need a second region, you get a second IP pair and add it to the same allowlists.

Multi-region failover

Multi-region failover is on the roadmap. You will allowlist IP pairs in two regions, and the client or the bm CLI will switch regions if one goes down.

Mumbai matters for India: low latency to bank, UPI partner, and broker APIs. See static IPs for algo trading and bank and UPI APIs.

Frequently asked questions

Which static IP regions are available at launch?

Planned launch regions are Mumbai, Chennai, Bangalore, Singapore, Jakarta, Tokyo, Sydney, Frankfurt, New York, and Virginia.

Can my static IPs move to another region?

No. Each IP pair belongs to one region and cannot move between regions. If you need IPs in a second region, you get a second pair and allowlist it too.

Which region should I pick?

Pick the region closest to the API or database you call, not the one closest to your users. For Indian bank and broker APIs, pick Mumbai. For services in Europe, pick Frankfurt. For US services, pick New York or Virginia.

Is there failover between regions?

Not at launch. Within a region, a pair of health-checked nodes fails over between your two IPs. Multi-region failover, where you allowlist pairs in two regions and traffic switches automatically, is on the roadmap.

Does the region need to match my app's region?

No. Your app can run anywhere. Closer is faster, so pick a proxy region between your app and the destination when you can.
